The International Brander-In-Chief

I have interviewed many Brander-In-Chiefs as I was developing the Prophit Marketing System and even Santa Claus himself runs his business within the seven staged system:

1)   Leadership that inspires

2)   Market Viability

3)   Process Managers and Process Partners

4)   Defined Mantra Concept

5)   Customer Experience Factor is top notch

6)   Share of Voice

7)   Passion

Again, when looking at the seven elements of the Prophit Marketing System the jolly ol’ elf, yes Santa Claus, fits the mold.

1)   1) He has no turnover. Sure it helps his staff is immortal, but still. He certainly inspires his staff.

2)   2) He holds the only position within his product category. No one has even tried to top the home delivery gift giver category.

3)  3) He has Process Managers among his elf staff (See the movie The Santa Clause). He also relies on Process Partners, people outside the organization: parents, stand-in Santas at Malls.

4)   4) Everyone knows Christmas is for children and the children in us all. The Mantra Concept is the feeling his brand has created.

5)   5) Hasn’t Christmas been celebrated basically the same way for thousands of years? Tradition based marketing!

6)  6)  Virtually every media in the world talks about it. Santa’s Share of Voice is as big as he is!

7)   7) Of course the big guy has passion. He’s never missed a Christmas. He’s like the post office: The mail must go through!

So there you have it: my focus on the ultimate International Brander-In-Chief, Santa Claus. If you learn to build your company like Ol’ St. Nick, great things will happen. The “how to” is all in my new book. Check it out!
